Sonia Olcese

Sonia Olcese (born in 1966) completed her university studies in Foreign Languages and History of Art at the University of Genoa (1993).

For thirty years Sonia has been active in the linguistic, cultural and tourist fields between Italy, France and Russia.

 

In 2006 she moved to Paris and obtained the card of guide-lecturer at the French university.

Then for four years she worked at the Department for Cultural Development of the Château de Versailles.

 

Since 2012 she lives in Brittany where she is active as guide-lecturer in Dinard and in the Côte d'Emeraude. At the same time she continues her activity as an interpreter and collaborates with Jacopo Brancati and Infine Arts in the realization of cultural projects related to the maritime heritage for museums.

 

Since 2015, Sonia Olcese has been offering a cycle of guided tours of the history and heritage of Lancieux, born from her research on this very particular village on the Côte d'Emeraude.

Her book, "Lancieux au fil du temps", illustrated by Jacopo Brancati, and with the participation of Stéphane Martin was published by Infine Arts in 2019.

The following year she started a cycle of lectures about art history focusing on the Scandinavian countries and Italy for the UTL Bretagne network.
